Dude - That's what you get for wussin' out on us! :smt064

Titlow, 8-10' viz in the shallows because of current and wind driven waves (it was JUMPIN' out there!), but it opened up to 15' or so. Fantastic 85 minute dive! :supz:

Hmmm... don't remember. We went to the tire piles at around 90fsw then over to the boat. Found the first Ling on eggs that I've seen at TTN this year, along with a bunch more that seem to be sitting around posing for pictures that might soon be on eggs.

And thanks Dusty!

Lots of critters as usual, if you took the slow down to see 'em! :supz:

Vis~10-15fsw at depth (~60-75fsw). Vis on top ~5fsw.
No renegade currents, great weather topside.

Viz tonight at Cove 2, zero in the shallows, opened up to 4' max at 65 fsw, unless the seals were going by. Then it went back to zero. I still think they're awesome, though.

Viz tonight at Redondo 10-15 ft, with the occasional 20ft around 50 fsw. There were odd spots of <5ft viz which we later discovered were seals enjoying dinner.

We dove Redondo just after Cardiver and Benoit this evening. Never saw more than 10 ft viz. All that rain sure did wash in a lot of silt and other debris. Water temp down to 44f.

I call these a "Braille dive."

On the way back in, I actually swam into the shore/beach completely...viz was zero and my head broke the surface when I grounded out at the shoreline. I surprised myself that I was on the surface, since I couldn't read my computer and I couldn't see squat. I had to back in to be able to stand up and get my fins off.

Yeech.

The viz was so bad at cove2 yesterday I couldn't even see myself and wondered "Who am I?"

Wow, this is making the 6 to 10 feet of viz we had at Edmonds sound positively wonderful!
