Very little information but a tragedy non the less. I am sure we can all learn lessons as more information comes out.
By Associated Press TILLAMOOK, Ore. (AP) — The US Coast Guard says a man diving alone in Tillamook Bay has been found dead.
Petty Officer Kelly Parker said the man apparently was using an air hose hooked up to a generator instead of an air tank because he had experienced problems with his air tank.
When the Coast Guard boarded his vessel Saturday they found that his backup air pump was not working. Members of the Coast Guard crew followed the line down from the boat and found the man decease.
The man's name has not yet been released.

Diver from Garibaldi found dead after search
The Daily Astorian
TILLAMOOK - The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Garibaldi man in his early 40s who was found Friday evening in Tillamook Bay.
U.S. Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay sent a utility boat out after receiving a call from the owner of Doug's Diving saying that one of the company's smaller boats had not come in for the night.
The Coast Guard crew located the 18-foot Zodiac at anchor in the bay then searched for the diver. His body was found later in the water.
Hate to hear about this, best wishes for his family.
