blood clots

Hey I just thought I would throw it out there. What are the problems if any of diving with a blood clot. I have found to have superficial thrombo phlebitis, with one clot in my left lower leg. Don't know if it would cause a problem or not. Any help.

The website also has some great info. If you do a search on blood clots my guess is that there would be an article there.

Good news, I just heard back from ask a medic at DAN. There is know problem with diving with this condition.

If there is a problem with diving with that condition, is it something you can be treated for and cleared for diving again?

Calling DAN was the best thing you could do - and the best advice Tom could have given!

You might check into a physician who specializes in dive medicine too - there are several in the Puget Sound area. You can never have enough information.
