I didnt' see chairs listed more than once...so I will bring two or three chairs (whatever isn't in the storage unit).

I would like to be a little buddy please. Getting used to my backplate. Using my new weight harness for the first time. ANd using my new computer for teh first time. And if all goes well tomorrow, my new Force Fins that actually fit! And using my new replacement light for the first time. I might be a walking time bomb by the time I get into the water. :stickwhack:

If I get these new force fins tomorrow, I will have my other ones to loan out. so if you wanted to know what it felt like to go mach 3 underwater with minimal leg movement....let me know.

Oh yes, I forgot to ask....
If all goes well on my first dive, I might be interested in seeing what it felt like to dive a steel tank. I am happy to reimburse someone for the airfill if they might have an extra steel tank avail I could try out (that is, if my first dive goes ok). If my first dive is a fiasco and no one is willing to big buddy me again...then it probably isn't safe for me to even try changing one more thing (ie al to steel tanks).... :)

Ah, mannnnnnn. Now I'm really bummed I won't be there. It's been way too long since I've had either.

Sneak away, Ben, sneak away! :)

If any of you have any gear you're willing to loan out (tanks, bcs, regs, fins) please bring it and let me know that you're willing to loan it out.

In the past, we've set up in the parking lot, and we've set up on the beach. I kinda prefer the beach. What's the general consensus?

I vote we set up ion the parking lot ... it's supposed to be raining tomorrow, and having pavement underneath us will be a lot better than sand under those conditions. Besides, there won't be much beach when we get there (although it'll be getting bigger as the day progresses).

i second the motion for the parking lot. i like having the car close by, and no sand in my gear.

is there an official meet up time / pep talk?

Parking lot it is then!

Meet time/pep talk at 9 a.m. I'll have maps of the dive site to hand out, plus I'll give an orientation of the site, a schedule of the days progression (organized chaos, most likely) and point people in the direction of the 02 in case there are any accidents (and please let there be no accidents!).

*sigh*

So, a good friend of mine lost his father this past week, and the funeral is tomorrow (Saturday). So, I won't be able to make it to the Club Dive tomorrow, and I'm planning to defect to the Sunday dive.

I'm wondering, is anyone planning to be in or around downtown Seattle this evening, who wouldn't mind picking up a few things from me to bring to tomorrow's Club Dive? The banner, t-shirts and maybe a couple other items? I live near 1st and Virginia downtown, but could drive to meet someone somewhere. There are a couple big boxes involved, and I also need someone to volunteer selling the t-shirts tomorrow at Redondo. Please PM me if you're going to be around this area.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Everyone,

A couple people have graciously offered to help bring the stuff for tomorrow, so I don't need any more help. Thanks All!

How about I bring some name tags so everyone can put both their first name and web handle on it?

I will be shore support also as I have been really sick this week and still have a ton of congestion...my hubby would be a little buddy (even though he won't admit it). He only has like 50 dives so....I'm not even sure he will want us to go so hopefully someone else will be bringing utensils too since it looks like I'm the only one bringing them...

If anyone coming tomorrow has the download cable for the Oceanic V250 (Aeris works as well) and is willing to bring it along, I would greatly appreciate it. I am too cheap to buy my own cable, but would like to download my most recent dives.

Tim and I are still up in the air if we are going or not.
Tim works nites and won't be home till 830am and it depends if he is too tired to dive and hang for a few hours or not!
I may come up for shore support or the 2nd dive...
We will see in the morning!
Hope to see you folks!

I'm going to be there uber early (7:30 am) I will hang out for a little while, but what I would like is for someone to help me out with a back plate and wing set up some one loaned me. I might even get to try to dive it, if possible. I have an extra HP 100 if some one want's to dive with me. Tom Nic has ear problems and we agreed he should not try to dive tomorrow. :dontknow: I also have my BC that I usually use with me also. I'll be there in a dark blue Dodge truck with a black soft topper on it. Just show up if you want to dive. :smt064 cel # is 253-241-5090.
