Got certified last fall (AOW, Nitrox) and have logged about 35 dives, mostly with my buddy Hawk whom I managed to infect with my glowing descriptions of big lings and the reflective properties of shrimp eyes. The ability to rise from the depths and casually toss a bagful of crab onto the deck for the cookpot didn't hurt my case either.
In terms of the locations we've been diving, Harper is fairly close and I've been there a number of times. I especially like to dive there whenever I pick up a piece of new gear, which happens with disturbing frequency

Been over to Sund Rock a few times, and down to Fox Island for the East Wall. Have also visited the Maury Island barges, drifted the Narrows, and skimmed along the top of Lobster Shop. Enjoyed Les Davis and Sunnyside during OW training, and kneeled on my share of flounder there. I swear I saw a big ling roll her eyes at me once at LD as I emerged from my OW silt cloud.
Sure thought Redondo was cool the one time I dove it, which was between last Christmas and New Years in a wetsuit. Lemme tell ya those after-dive peels in the parking lot in the middle of winter will shrivel your bits. I've since gone dry and WOW that was a welcome change.
We also go out to Misery Point and poke around once in a while though we haven't really found the good structure there yet.
I'm happy to dive any/all of those places repeatedly, as I've yet to find a dive site I didn't like. But I know there's a lot more eye candy out there and I'm happy to expand my range, so if you're ever short a dive buddy feel free to ping me.
Would love to hook up with others for diving opportunities, including weeknight or early morning weekday dives if you're up for it. I live in Bremerton so West and South Sound sites are real attractive, but I don't mind hopping on a ferry or driving around.
My diving style is pretty relaxed - no hurries no worries, safe and sane. Slow is good, photographers welcome.

Anyhow, thanks again to Tangfish for providing the great site, and to the rest of you for filling it up with your tales of the briny deep.
I look forward to meeting you in the near future. :occasion5:
Cheers,
