So far, I am encountering only yolk-less jellies ...

The Whidbey critters are hitting another low spot. Surrounded by some Spaghetti worms,
a shape of terrestrial resemblance (do not step on it ) caught my attention.At first I thought
it might me the worm body normally buried in sand...

Not positive on the ID, Worms are so difficult ...

Nobody, but nobody else has ever posted a picture of a crab turd, Jan. You have hit either a new high or a new low, I'm not sure which!

Well, as you know by now, if it is underwater and looks weird or different, I take picture of it.
But I don't dwell on the yuck only.
Encounter with GPO takes my mind off the lowly always.

We went in right after you got out. After a beautiful 65 minute dive, I returned. My buddy Jim stayed behind. He had over twice as much gas and is 2 decades younger. When he emerged he told me about running into a large octopus right out in the open which didn't care that he was there and he spent 15 minutes hanging out with him. Just another of Jan's pets.

I have seen this peculiar Lingcod markings for some time at Keystone. Now we have two resident fish
at the jetty, one has left side dark, the other right side. Anybody else finding this kind of coloration
at different dive locations ?

Is there a possibility of chimeric instances in fish species?

Interesting idea, but I am not expert on the subject, I am still waiting for answers from people who might know.

Meanwhile, the rain, wind returned and I get to work on pictures I took during the prolonged summer
