Absolutely great advice, sitkadiver! For diving warmth in general, I believe in "conservation of thermal units" -- I drive to the site in my undergarments with the heat on, put my gear together with a heavy boat coat on over the undergarments and ALWAYS with a hat. And I don't get in the water until everybody is ready to dive. Heat you lose in the parking lot or while waiting for people is heat you don't have to dive with!
