Northwest Dive Club

I am in.

I'm a maybe, not sure I can get there by 5. Anyone planning a 2nd dive? Or maybe a late first dive (Cardiver?)?

I am up for a second or even a third depending on when we get started.

I'm out - fatherly duty calls...

I threw my back out last Sunday, still hurting. I might not be able to make it at the Muk this weekend.

I thought martial art masters had special tricks for healing injuries like that. Haven't you seen Karate Kid??

That's all Hollywood dude. Jackie Chan just about broke all the major bones in his body by doing all his stunts. Bruce Lee almost didn't walk again. The list goes on. As for tricks for healing injuries - I call it medical marijuana. I want one if I can get away with it.

I see you caught the fever and bought some tanks EH!!! Wish I could dive but I have a sinus cold right now or I would be all in. I have to cal in jury duty tomorrow so I am not sure if I will have to go in or not until tomorrow. So that makes the next 2 weeks up in the air. I guess if they say NO need for me tomorrow then my son also is on spring break all next week. Get rid of this cold and BAM I can dive.

OH did I mention I got an email saying my UEMIS is on its way home finally.

Rob, Elise, and I did two dives, Jesse joined us for the first. Nice dives - thanks a bunch!!

Took my newly acquired 119 for a test spin - it performed admirably, although I had to break the news to the poor tank that this would be the last time it sees 3700 psi for a long long time.

Keith, TIM and I are hitting 2nd slack at Titlow on Saturday if you want to join us.

I would have considered this about 12 hours ago...except now I feel like I might sleep for the next week. Also, my tanks are empty and the shop opens at 10. So...no. I'll just pretend I'm diving tomorrow morning. And as long as we're pretending, I'm going to be someplace warm like Mexico, with lots of pretty things, and on a boat where I can just fall off instead of trekking down a beach with gear that weighs almost the same as I do....yeah, that's where I'm diving tomorrow morning...

Ha! Sounds like I'm not the only one feeling worn out and with the mid-Winter blahs... Or maybe something in the water last night is making my bones feel old this morning.

I need to get the tides squared away in my brain.

Gibson Point first slack is about 8 AM. Flood is pretty negligible. Second slack is about noon.

Current plan was to do second slack, but that may be adjusted. Let's talk.
