Tacoma Scuba WILL fill them if they pass hydro and vis. The problem with the older alloy is that it is prone to sustained load cracking at the neck. The instances of catastrophic failure are almost unheard of IF the tank is not being over pressurized and the visuals are done correctly. Also the necks will (or should) get Eddy Current inspection at hydro.

I need to run a few rounds through my rebarreled .50 :)
Well I have a 300 yard range in my back yard. I have some .50 API laying around here that could help that have a real good bang. Bought a bunch of it several years ago but never did end up with the rifle so sold most of it.
API, nice! :supz:

Maybe try an O2 fill with the API?

Would do much better for sure. Now if I only had a way to fill some high %O2.

Couple years ago I shot a way outdated O2 cylinder that was full with a standard round. It was quit impressive and managed to catch my grass on fire.

Open the tank, fill with propane some amount, tape up tank neck, have fun at a safe distance.

Well, now I know what to do with the thousand or so rounds of green-tip 5.56 I have lying around. My local range upgraded the traps and I can't use it there any more. At the time, it was the same price as standard 5.56, so I figured "why not?"

The 50 Beowulf is right out, too :(

Time to buy some Eastern WA land :)

.50 Beowulf looks like a cool caliber but I am already supporting too many calibers as it is.

Last weekend we took the leftover pumpkins out. Drilled a small hole in the top, fill to about 3/4 full of water then tested the .50 AE Desert Eagle on them. They lost.
