lol, bassman - that's sweet.

so ... dave, just how does coming up to dive with you work? and is sitka a cool place to visit? (i've never been to alaska, but i've always wanted to get up there and see those gorgeous mountains and glaciers.)

Sitka is a great place to visit and even better for diving...Lots to see and do here im sure u will love it here no traffic jams lots of rain...better come check it out ahe...

You'd have to own it yourself though. AS doesn't carry passengers in those old -200s any more. Or, were you having a Fond Memory Fallback?

After a beautiful, busy, but only getting damp summer it is time to start getting wet again. Who know? I might even make it down to SE. I've been trying for awhile but it just hasn't come together yet.

Todays find

got a call this afternoon saying they have something in the wheel...Suited up and drove the boat over and got the web out easy money....Then went down to see what was on the sea floor 1st a hat then a headlamp then a coil of about 300ft of buoy line brought that up and went down for another look swam out into the channel and played w/Bassman and tom Nics buddies 5 sea lions lasted for about 10 mins then started to swim north against the current and found a cable followed that till I saw a navy anchor snagged to the cable all I said was yea ha followed the cable up and it went to the airplane float next to the dock that I was diving off of...Went and grabbed my lift bags swam back and lifted the anchor and went back to the boat w/it and got the same responce form the captain can I have it lol I gave him the line and the G I Jo I found and kept the anchor 200lb navy anchor......250 for the dive 750 for the anchor 30mins of diving for a grand I love it.............Image :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la: :la:

It was a great year for dock work.....Who does all the underwater work down in the Ballard area???????come on up this week and we could mabee make enough to pay for your ticket but u dont have to worrie about that Bassman.....Still have 13 anchors to find for people if some of u would like to come up and go anchor hunting #-o dont sound like fun but its good money......Image

Anchor hunting/bottle hunting/deer hunting/spear fishing/salmon fishing\sounds good see u next weekend Surface temps r in the low 60s..This is the time of the year that weard animals show up in the gulf of alaska...
