Your next "best step" would be to post in the "introductions" forum. Tell folks a little bit about yourself...where you live...where you'd like to dive...how far you're willing to travel...days that you are available...etc.

There are a LOT of people here looking for dive buddies, many of whom thoroughly enjoy meeting brand new divers that they can help develop.

I'd really like to make it out for this. Been meaning to get in on a club dive for quite a while and I dive at Sund Rock enough that it is pretty much home base :P If I can make it out I'll bring some Hot Chocolate, mini marshmallows, and my camp stove .

Gonna try to make this. Hoping to have all my gear together by then.

Limited parking is an understatement! Figure 10ish depending on car size in the lot itself, and maybe 8-10 up top if people are crafty with where they park.

Sounds like lots of folk will be staying in hotels so carpooling amongs y'all shouldn't be hard.

OF COURSE Waynne has to man the shop on Saturday:( but I'm totally down!

There is a carpool lot on Madrona Beach Rd NW, just off highway 101, exit for 2nd Ave SW at the West end of Olympia And there is also the bigger pnr off Martin Way in Olympia. Just fyi if that

Thanks Bob. They actually found the stone before we left, but we crossed our fingers and toes and took our chances it wouldn't move and went anyway. The earliest they could get him in for surgery was this coming Friday anyway so . . . whew!!

I won't be able to make it. My dry suit won't be shipping from the factory till March 4th.

My custom made spaghetti with sausage and whole wheat noodles.

Does anyone have a propane stove they are bringing. It's easier to heat up the spaghetti than using a BBQ grill?

Jorstead creek - maybe, the hill might be too slippery go up and down.
Shell fish lab at Point Whitney just a smidge north of Brinnon. Nice spot went there on last MLK day (Jan 19 I believe)

Yes, I'll have my grill, tables, and popup canopy, along with plates, utensils, aluminium foil, paper towels, and trash bags.

It's time to narrow down your food selections! Please start posting what you're going to bring. Especially if it's chips! And don't hesitate to bring store bought stuff if you're cooking-challenged.
