i am really considering coming up there. bassman makes it sound like a great time! i have to see if i can finagle time off from work, though. i just took a whole week off recently so i'm not sure they're going to be very amenable. i'll see if i can figure something out, but if i come it might have to be a pretty short trip.

I'm heading up to Sitka Monday the 24th to Thursday the 27th.
I have room for 1 person interested in coming along ? I'll cover the cost for flying there and back...
must be AOW or better, certification level.

We r going to have some great dives got a kelp forest that we will dive in and Makhnati rock should have great viss out there and mass critters..

Well, I'm not sure about you guys but I would have jumped on that one. Everyone complains about how much it costs to get to Alaska but here bassman is offering free airline tickets to come up and not a single person has responded. What is up with that??

Sitka??

Who would want to dive somewhere with great vis, Warm water (relatively speaking), sea lions, and ton's of other critters?

Juneau is where it's at, colder darker water, and Heavy Metal! (i.e. Wrecks!)

Dave, The boys and I may look at hopping a ferry this winter and coming over to bug you for a couple days!

Never thought I would ever get paid for diving..Diving every day during the summer makes the season go real fast...Its not 9-5 more like 7-7 every day..The bummer thing is that im on salary so im stuck diving for sea life every day..Good things r I get to see all the different critters that come through the breakwater and get to dive on boats in the harbor in between sea life dives

Should be a great trip unless the weather blows 70 but that wouldnt stop us..There is allways some place to dive in bad weather,just not as good of spots
