As it turns out, I'm glad we weren't on the boat . . . Peter and I are both horribly sick, and wouldn't have been able to dive anyway. You guys have a good time and tell us all about it!

I'm still in although I'm working until at least midnight and it's a 4 1/2 hour drive from Portland which means we need to leave at...I don't even want to think about that. I'm glad Bric is driving.

If you're still interested, the spot is available. However, I need to tell you that it's not a free spot. The way I organize my trips, if the spot gets filled, Koos gets his money back and the person going has to pay for it.

I know he offered, but the trip's through me, and that's how I do it. If he wants to pay for your spot, the two of you can work it out offline.

Actually I just made plans with Diesel dude to dive it from shore and I dont want to bail on him. So looks like the spot is still up for grabs.

Hope you all post how this trip turns out... and learn the ropes so you can show the rest of us around next time. I grew up right by the pass and have always wanted to dive it. Have fun!
