After hearing all the horrible vis stories, I was concerned about diving Redondo tonight. Dropped down to about 20 feet and it was about 10 ft vis. Now, compared to the 1ft people were telling me about, I was happy.

Got a few photos, played with an octo and a little grunt sculpin. It was a great dive!!!

Yep ... did Three Tree last night. Vis was in the 12-15 foot range at depths below 25 feet, and probably in the 8-10 foot range above that.

North (always) ... nothing much to look at on the south side ...

Cool - when I was there with RobH the vis was awesome and we watch chum salmon dart in and out of the bait balls near the surface from 50fsw! Watching the light shimmer on the ground was really neat - reminded me of Maui (except it was really cold!).

Keystone today - Wednesday- silty, about 15 feet vis, not bad, little bit dark because of the rainy mess above.

Did 105 minutes at EUP this afternoon had 15-20 feet. Then spent nearly 3 hours in traffic on the way home.

Did Cove 2 tonight. Vis was okay in the beginning, maybe 10 - 15', then got silted up very quickly by all the swarming seals :supz:

GD, how did the deco dive go?
