Vis updates?

Post by dsteding »

Anyone? After a two week hiatus due to work and eating turkeys, I'm diving Sunday. What's the word on the vis at Cove 2?

I'll let you know in a few hours ... but probably not very good with the harbor seals out and about ...

Thanks Bob.

As this is my first fall/winter of diving, the harbor seals are a new experience. I don't think I like them.

Let's get a dive in soon . . .

My wife and I still haven't been able to dive with them yet. Now I just found out she won't be able to dive for at least a month.

sigh.

Indeed they are, and on that account are cool to dive with . . . however, they do muck up the vis more than a bunch of OW students lined up in the shallows of Cove 2 doing drills while on their knees (which I can forgive, we were all there once, but the damn seals should know better, they spend their whole lives swimming around, you'd think they'd develop at least one non-silting kick).
