PSL at Les Davis

Post by Pinkpadigal »

I was finishing up a safety stop yesterday with a student, and spotted a Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker! It is my first OW sighting (I have seen them several times at Van Aquarium). No camera (of course, only see cool stuff when diving with students) but my buddy spotted it too.

It was golden and just chilling out in the dust at Les Davis, not near eel grass or anything else. I know people have seen them TTN and Redondo, but has others seen them at Les D?

Valerie & I saw a nice sized one there a month or two ago. It was hanging out in the eel grass. Valerie got several pictures of it.
