Hello everyone, I just signed up for this site as it looks to be a great source of info and collaboration. My buddy Jayson (Jayson161) directed me here. I got certified in June and have been diving since.
I go to school in Oregon, down in Klamath Falls, and don't dive while I'm here so I try to get out as much as possible when I come home (Everett area) on breaks. I'll be back permanently this summer and hope to get a lot more diving in. I'm slowly collecting gear and have most of it, just a few more items to gather and I'm set.
Anyway, its nice to meet you and I hope to see you all out there sometime soon.
Anthony

Welcome to the club!
Wasn't frozen was it? Plenty of folks on here from the North end, myself included so there should be no shortage of potential buddies!! Perhaps we'll see ya this summer...deep diver wrote:welcome, nice hammer

Welcome,
There is diving in southern Oregon. On the coast there is Port Orford and inland Waldo Lake just north of K Falls is one of the clearest lakes in the world. This guy has a bunch of sites you could check out before you move home. http://www.wave.net/diveguy/oregonsites.html

It totally is! I keep wanting to go out every few days when I'm up there. I've only dove in the PS but I've heard people say that when you get used to diving here in the NW everywhere else is "pretty, but not as much fun".John Rawlings wrote:Welcome to NWDC - it's good to have you here!![]()

Thanks for the info, but I'm only here for 3 more months and all of my gear is up in Everett. I would have liked to have seen a lot of it, but alas, it doesn't seem to be in the cards this time.selkie wrote:Welcome,

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes, I hope to dive with you soon!
Re: Mud Skipper
Welcome! I think the hammer avatar is great (other than the fact that you are blocking the view). I think you're going to fit in very well around here.
