Re: Something to try on your next deco stop
This is pretty difficult to do, but then again i cant even blow a smoke ring.
Re: Something to try on your next deco stop
There's no way that's real, unless he's got some kind of ring shaped membrane that he can spit out. I don't see any reason why air would hold that shape
Re: Something to try on your next deco stop
It is real, I too have seen this in person. I need to learn how to do that, cause I CAN blow smokerings

I think Norris & I have seen the same person do this. He's on this board. Step up & tell us the secret bubble master

Uncle Pug (Ron S. among probably others) knows how to blow rings. I'm not sure if he's on this board.

My dive guide in Maui could do it amazingly well. He would have several rings stacked up in a row all going up... It is amazing how long they hold their shape and continue to expand.
Re: Something to try on your next deco stop
A few years ago I was doing this in a pool while my friend was teaching an OW class. Two of the students saw me on my back and tried to rescue me. Probably because my rings aren't very good.

I remeber when I first met you, you told me about how you used to "blow bubbles" in the bathtub when you were a bit younger.H20doctor wrote:sorry i am late to the party ... Norris and dieseldude Have both seen me Blow air rings ...

Was it the ever nutty Shaka Doug? He has the record for blowing the most bubble rings blown in a single breath of air.... like a dolphin.Jaksonbrown wrote:My dive guide in Maui could do it amazingly well.
