Captain Mark and Pacific Adventure July 3rd

Post by Bric Martin »

Today was a great day in the Hoodscanal! I dove with Pacific Adventure on the downtime. As we loaded the boat today Don scooted down the ramp to say hello. I wish I would have snapped a picture. Don is sliding around on a contraption with handbreaks and wheels that turn. He really needs a PFD, that guy was totally out of control coming down the ramp!
Captain Mark(Penninsuladiver) is keeping the Downtime up and running and doing a great job! Don would be proud, Mark runs an excellent boat and today couldn't have been better.

Today I dove with Georgia(Wylerbear), she might be the best partner I have ever buddied up with! We dove the northern sites, Pullali South,West, and the Pinnacle. The dives were nice and relaxing with no current and about 25 feet of viz. On our second dive I saw the biggest spiny dogfish that I have seen. As I turned it was about 4 feet behind me and it was unusually relaxed. It was just meandering along, of course as soon as we made eye contact it was gone. Georgia found a Red Bratula and snapped a couple of pictures.

The dives were good, the people on the boat were very nice, Captain Mark and the crew were fantastic!

It was a great day. 3 wonderful, relaxing fun dives. Great job as always by the PAC crew. Good company. Lots of life, great viz (except for the huge clouds of krill). Bric & I meshed very well as dive buddies. You'd have thought we'd been diving together for awhile.
While not as nice as Bric's, I put up a few photos on facebook. You can view them at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=6 ... b5dc500741

Bric, you continue to raise your own bar. :notworthy: I am especially fond of the head shot of the Vermillion.

Thank you for the kind words. It was great to have both yourself and Georgia on the boat and glad you hooked up for the dives. I hope to see both of you again soon! It's going to be a crazy fun summer on Hood Canal!
