B-Dub sighting!

Post by nwscubamom »

Today, I was out geocaching with some other divers (yes, we do have other hobbies besides diving!) and we were hunting some over at Alki...

I realized I didn't have a good photo for my dive site directions page on my pnwscuba website, so we stopped so I could take a few shots of the beach area.

Who should I see there, but a couple of divers, one had on doubles with the name B-DUB on them!!! I went over and said howdy...nice to finally meet in person!!

So, a fun day!

Well geez Janna ... if I knew you were taking pictures of me I would've posed!

It was great finally meeting you too!

J-
Why are you using a photo of me as your avatar?! Not that I mind-I think it's kind of cool-but I'm curious.

I figured I had better change from the Red Irish Santa now that Christmas is over, so I have several 'general diving' photos already presized that I use for the front page of pnwscuba, and grabbed that one! Love the colors.

Was trying to figure out how to caption it on here, but didn't know how. So yeah, you're a star for now!

hehe, you never know who's watching! Actually, my husband took that shot earlier, not knowing who you were at all.

Here's the shot *I* took of you, without knowing who you were :) You're that tiny teensy little speck in the distance. (Was trying to get a decent shot of the entry) I shall now immortalize you on the pnwscuba website.

Wooo hoooo!

haha it's good for him. He's getting a little too big for his britches. ;)

All of his hired help was at the party. Nothing that couldn't be bribed with a little pulled pork and beer.

I think BDub may be the PNW dive community's new Waldo.

Or, the equivalent of that traveling gnome or something.

LOL.

Hrm I'm not going to torture him too much more because he's going to make my next class with him torture on me.

I can see it now.

Okay today we'll be doing the whole dive without masks. #-o

I will admit that I haven't performed this skill yet, but it will be incorporated into Ron's next class.

Thanks for the help Doug!

Sounds like Ron has experience with flooded suits already, so Brian will need to add an additional task...
