Advanced Diver Magazine to be web-only

Post by John Rawlings »

....the end of an era. Effective immediately there will no longer be a paper "hard-copy" version of ADM and we will be going completely over to an on-line version.

I'm going to miss the hard copy issues that I could hold in my hands, but I have been reading the writing on the wall for some time now, especially since my past 4 articles have appeared on the web and not in a mag!

Please see this link: http://www.advanceddivermagazine.com/

Scroll down a bit....it gives those of you that have some issues left on your subscription some options so that we don't just leave you hanging....that wouldn't be right, so we're going to do what we can to make it right.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep writing articles about the Pacific Northwest and they will appear on the web with ADM. I hope that you will continue to enjoy them!

Best regards to you all!

John

Thanks for the heads up I wondered why I had not gotten a hard copy issue lately now I know why. I really looked forward to getting a new issue in the mail every 3 months. Just as well I guess since they seem to be focusing more on rebreathers and us old open circuit guys are kind of left out. Makes me feel like a dinosaur.

Are you going to have to pay to access the content online that you used to get in a hard copy issue?

Thanks,

Mike

Sad. An understandable sign of out times, but sad nonetheless.

We love the web and the many benefits it provides. One wonders about long term and not so long term unforeseen consequences.
