New dive club in the area. This one was created due to requests, mostly from newer female divers wanting to dive more, and find "veteran" female divers to learn from.

Are all the dives/events going to be on weeknights? I can't drive 2+ hours on a weeknight and then have to drive home after diving and dinner. I think its a good idea for a 'club' though. You should offer classes through the club too, like an all girls advanced class or something, I had alot of requests for that... and trips too.

Starting in March, I want to have one weekend dive per month as well. Maybe make a whole day of diving with an activity as well.

This all came about kinda suddenly, and while I'm going to be "coordinating"...I definitely want to go with the input of the women who will be using the club.

I think it would be fun to get together with "friends" that share diving as a commonality...especially those that don't live locally so that we can extend our diving network.

The night of the first dive, we're doing pizza and I'm hoping that I'll get alot of input and ideas to fly with. If you have anything you'd like to see...let me know and I'll work that in.

I'm in whenever I can fit it into my schedule. Having to drive up from Portland and having to work most weekends may exclude me from a lot of the activities. But I'll be there whenever I can. Sounds like fun. We need more "girl" divers!!

Hey, just got an email from a gal in Jersey that wants to set up a "It's a Girl Dive" club there.
