Dive in Seattle area Wed 12/22 or Thurs 12/23?

A friend and I are looking to go diving in the Seattle area this Wednesday 12/22 or Thursday 12/23 in a place OTHER than Alki or Edmonds (since those are the only two places we've been to in the area, and we want to try something different). Mukilteo or Hood Canal would be great, or any other destination in the area worth visiting. Is anyone planning to go diving those days and can show a couple guys a new site?

It has been a month since I been able to get wet. We could do Three Tree in the afternoon wednesday. What times?

@mcleod123 and pogiguy05: both Redondo and Three Tree look like good sites. We're hoping to do 2 dives - are either of you up for two dives? Regarding timing, I guess that depends on the tides. I haven't yet learned the art of targetting a splash time based on the tide charts, but I think planyourdive.com indicates that there are good splash times for those sites anywhere between 9am and 3pm. (If someone has a more informed interpretation, please pipe in!)

Regarding Three Tree there can be sometimes current but due to its location, but I have never dealt with anything that I could not handle. If you wish to try and dive the cabin cruiser that is closer to the point then current becomes an issue. You can also go straight out a little and drop on the tire piles or walk up to the right and swim out and drop in what is known as the junk yard. Seems anything is there from an old satellite dish to the kitchen sink.We have usually dives this site at 4-5pm and have done two dives with no real current problems.

For me I cannot stay out to late as I have duties to attend to so the best times for me would be meet at 4-5pm. Wednesday would be good for me. Thursday my son has an appointment in the afternoon.
