wow, but why was it sunk ? just to make it a wreck dive site ? Looks like it is in pretty shallow waters.

Some wonderful dive sites are intentionally sunk ships. In no time they are covered with life and for the most part a great dive!

Wow! That has been a long time coming. The location is going to be excellent for both snorkelers and divers. *sigh* Guess I need to begin planning another trip to the Caymans...

That thing looks like a ton of fun! Sun-lit, great visibility... I want to freedive scooter it! It's going to looks great when the fish move in.

I think we know where we should have our next club dive dont ya think?

ohh great. its not too deep so can be a good dive site.

Yes I know this thread is from 2011!
But I had to bring it back and say that this Dive is going onto my list of Dives I want to do in future.

The Kittiwake was actually the ship my father was on when he was in the Navy. I would love to dive it, see it and get some pics to "gift" to him and have him see "his ship" again. Whenever he talks of his time in the Navy and on the Kittiwake he always gets a special glint in his eye.
