PNW newbie

Post by catone »

Looking for a buddy to dive the PNW for the first time (warm water diver here, currently living in Yakima). I am available any day this week/weekend. And just in case I can't find a buddy, what would be a good site to start with as a solo diver (little current, good viz, easy navigation/access, safe parking)?
Thank you!

Safe solo sites Seattle south would be Les Davis, Redondo if the tides are right, Cove 2, Three Tree. All are no or low current sites. They are also quite popular so you might find someone onsite you could dive with.

You'll definitely be able to find a buddy here at NWDC. The more you can tell us about yourself as a diver, the better you'll do finding the right buddy. I've gone ahead and copied your post here to the Find a Buddy forum.
