Is 40" the standard hose length for a deco bottle?

Deco hose length question

I believe generally it's 40" for regular 1st stages and 36" for swivel 1st stages. YMMV

When I plan deco dives I prefer 300' to 600' of hose and a deck chamber.

Personally I use a 42". Seems to route nice for me.

40" is on the long side but works well for DST4s.
36" or 38" are better on turret regs.

Wayne is the first person I've heard of liking 42", on me that would snag on my manifold.

:boxer: I'm not a fathead!..... 5'8" and 135lbs... oh wait... that makes me the pencil necked geek!!!!! damn :boxer: :boxer:

to be honest I think the 42's may be just a tad long, but with any less if I look hard left I feel a bit too much of a tug on the reg. And I use turreted regs.
