The first find was a Grunt Sculpin hiding in a pipe.

There were Opalescent Nudibranchs Hermissenda crassicornis on every kelp frond---- very tiny though, smaller than a grain of rice. A bit pale looking, probably needs some sun!

There were Ratfish everywhere. At one spot I counted a school of 8 hanging around me.

A male painted greenling was showing his breeding colors as he attempted to entice a nearby female. Males turn nearly black during breeding.

A fair amount of Rockfish large and small.... a combination of Coppers and Quillbacks. Although Janna now tells us that many are now hybrids.
