Where: Redondo!
When: February 19th, 9:00 a.m.!

Yes, we are long overdue for a club dive, and a SUNDAY one at that! I will have the barbecue in a subaru (grill, tables, cooler, popup canopy, utensils, plates,etc.). Please bring a dish to share, or a packet of hot dogs, buns, burgers, etc. If you have a popup canopy and the weather is craptastic, please bring it too. Also bring: water, a chair for surface intervals, your dive gear, and your meet and greet face!

Looking for new buddies? Be there! Always wanted to put some avatars to some faces? Now is the time! Want to try out some gear, like a different type of fins, or a bp/w, or a different tank? Let me know, and I'll wrangle up some gear for you!

This is a "Big Buddy" dive, so if you are a "Little Buddy" (a new and/or inexperienced diver) and want to dive with a "Big Buddy" (a more experienced diver), let me know and I'll set you up. If you're willing to be a Big Buddy let me know that too!

Meet at the fishing pier parking lot across from the pier/MAST building. Do NOT park in the Salty's lot. Here is a map to the site:

Here's the general schedule of mayhem:

Meet at 9:00 a.m. - I will set you up with buddies and/or gear if you need
Splash at 10-ish
BBQ at 11-ish
Splash again at 12:00-1:00-ish
Pick at leftovers
Splash again for those die-hards

Its abit far out yet, as I tend to dive/ride/quad/wife/race week to week.

But I will put this on the calendar. I have several canopies if they arent loaded up in the race truck.

Ill figure a dish when its gets closer.

I probably won't make the early dive, but provided I can get that day off work (looks good as of right now!) I'll get there late morning, in time for the second and maybe third dives. I can be a big-ish buddy -- I've taken some of my friends around that site and managed to get back OK so far, but I also like to dive with a camera so I'm not really an appropriate buddy for someone brand-new out of OW...

I am really gonna try to make this meet/dive. I am having to take my dry suit in for repairs today and hopefully it will be back by then. Time to get my backup suit new seals so i can use it.

I also have a popup canopy i will bring if the weather is looking craptastic

I will try to make it for the first and second dives and depending on how much i feel like playing hockey that night or sticking around, maybe the third dive. I'll be able to confirm my February schedule (i.e. whether I have that weekend off or not) by the end of next week... then I'll figure out a tasty dish to bring.

Consider me an average sized buddy... Just did OW/AOW this fall but will have around 30 dives by the time Feb 19 rolls around and am quite comfortable with my trim/finning but have never been to Redondo before so would like to be buddied with someone who could be a bit of a guide.

Also, if anyone has a pair of XL Jet fins I could try out for a dive or two that would be great... I'm feeling a bit foot-light in my Slipstreams.

Ahhhh its a Sunday! I will be at Mass (Church) on sunday with my family asking for forgiveness for the prior weeks fun...

But I am still working details for the Dry Dock'd meet n greet as well and should have that all wrapped up soon, Looking at sometime in the same time bracket tho so maybe it will work out for those who cant make this one on sunday like me

maybe there can be two Club Dives the second an afternoon one for all those heavenly faithful divers who have to confess their scuba sins.

Anyone want to make meet times I am open to most any myself.
