Splendid, I got one!
I GOT ONE! I just got back late last night from a trip to Cozumel. One of the goals of the trip was to photo a splendid toad fish and I did! Photog'd some other cool critters too including turtles, Queen Angles and many of the other usual suspects. Juvenile spotted drum fish were also on my list to photo, and while I saw some I didn't get any pics, guess I'll have to go back.
Cheers!

- I got a good squirt in my mouth
- I would imagine that there would be a large amount of involuntary gagging
- I don't know about you but I'm not into swallowing it

Spotted drums are my FAVORITE!!! I saw one in the Bahamas that was literally the size of my thumbnail (the body that is). It was pretty much just two big striped fins. And oh my god, the way they dance!! Adorable. So adorable.guitarmaker wrote:I GOT ONE! I just got back late last night from a trip to Cozumel. Nice shot of the toad fish! We saw lots last summer, after a while I almost got sick of the DM pointing them out :P The turtle is great too, I could never get close enough to illuminate them!
OK! Here, I finally found it. A lucky shot, let me assure you my old photos do not all look this good...

That water looks so warm, why in the world would you want to go back?
