My name is Aimee (aka TheTurtle) and I absolutely fell in love with diving about a year ago. My husband, runamonk (aka Ron) took the class before me with a friend, and had so much fun I figured I would give it a try (even though I had a little bit of fear of the water). Found out that once you get down there and see what's under the surface, it's not that scary at all (although I did have an angry ling come after me at the EUP, and that was a bit disconcerting - hehe).

I didn't think I could dive because of major sinus problems over the years, but turns out I've been just fine. This past winter I did have some minor problems and was only able to dive a handful of times, but am looking forward to getting back in the water a lot more in the next few months. My husband and I will be starting Master Diver soon and I am looking forward to learning more and continuously improving my skills......Man, it sure amazes me every time I descend below the surface and I just love it!

I hope to meet more of you around the Sound!

Hey Jake - yeah, I'd love to do EUP again but I think I'd like to wait until nesting season is over for those big lings - haha! I'll be in touch....
