Day Island

Post by Lonestar »

Tons of Red Irish Lords, absolutely everywhere. Reminded me of the Clown Nudi's in the San Juans last week! I got so caught up in all of the Irish Lords that I really didn't pay any attention to the Bull Kelp floating past in my peripheral vision. well not until I looked over at my dive partners and saw that the Bull Kelp was actually a Wolfie. She was uber aggressive, each of us had to push her away, didn't want fingers mistaken for hot dogs.(she must be getting them from someone cuz she was sure looking)

After her I found another in its hole at the top of the wall and my buddies ran across a big male, 8-9 feet, out swimming around as well. So final tally was 4 wolfies and one GPO down at the bottom of the V.

It's secret code.
First letter of each word in the last sentence = "wawabi".
IIRC, I believe it's a now extinct and very ancient south american tribal dialect, used only by underwater inhabitants.
I'm pretty sure the most direct translation into English means "macarena".

Sure Keith, blame it on technology!
Does all black gear really provide a more streamlined dive rig?...... I Think Not!!! Go DiiR (Do it in Red)!!
