Gardening problems

Post by Don-B »

So this year my garden is not doing so well.
seems like every time something sprouts up its eaten.
the garden is fenced in so i though birds were getting to it.
so i put up bird netting but that didn't seem to help

Bunnies have to eat too! But I know it's frustrating. I think our garden is being eaten by slugs. Beer traps out tonight.

So that's what those are! I thought my neighbor was just leaving beer out in her garden for me. I've got to tell the guys at the job site on Monday.

My foe is blacktail deer. They seem to really enjoy the leaves on my strawberry plants. And last year, they put their lips on eveyr single ripe tomato I had, and bit a small bite out of each one. So this year...Im thinking blowgun for venison!!!!
