I agree that this is an epic find. You should have fun over the years creating stories of how it ended up in you possession. I had a similar find years ago, not as old and certainly not as rare. For my own reasons it was special. I was diving the old "crab pier" at Mukilteo. During the Cold War it was an Air Force pier connected to Paine Field, but during WWII it was a Navy ammo pier. I saw a porcelain handle sticking out of the mud. It was connected to a coffee mug, the type used on the mess decks of navy ships. It said "USN 1943" on the bottom. That was when my dad was in the navy! I cleaned it up and it became my favorite coffee cup. Then, an old navy shipmate of mine was visiting and he said, "Curt, if you ever find another one of those, can I have it?" I knew I was never going to find another one, so I gave him mine. While I never found another vintage cup, a young friend of mine gave me a new one that he bought from a navy supplier. I photographed it in front of my dad's internment flag.

Love the post with the coffee cup filled with coffee. I have the espresso cup from the same ship possibly. Here are some treasures from sitka.

The latest find from Port Townsend. Not as old as I first thought, but old enough to be Edwardian...

5/5/19 Lake Washington Madrona Beach 80 ffw
No stamps or markings of any kind sides or bottom. Holds 2 1/4 cups, 8 1/4 tall
Appears to be 3 piece, the container has a diagonal seam and the neck slightly crooked with a taper on the lip edge
The glass is a bit smokey but I don't know if that's original.

How old is it? It has a grab mark on a side and bottom. Bottom is smooth except a bit of an edge that seems like its a cap. One small bubble.
Label side is flat the other rounded.

Molded but with an applied neck... Probably 1890's - 1910's era, rough guess. Hard to say definitively without embossing.

Here are a couple recent finds from the sound. The whisky was found by a dive buddy and is estimated at $1000. (I probably swam past it thinking it was junk) there are still a few treasures to be found out there.

Well, something a little different today from Port Townsend. Live ammunition, circa WW I? And a few older bottles, the two on the right are probably from the 1890's.

Found a couple good ones today, my 1st Dr J Hostetter’s Stomach Bitters and for you Seattle guys a Claussen Brewing Assn beer bottle.
