New diver needs experinced patient dive buddy(ies)

Post by pogiguy05 »

Hello all. Just passed my NAUI scuba dive course and will be looking to dive some easy dives for starters. Until I get my feet wet. I will be in the Philippines from April 20th to May 4th. I usually have afternoons available and once I get back I will know more about my availability. I appreciate any advice about dive sites around the Puget Sound Area.

Hi Pogi,

Welcome to NWDC. There are plenty of good divers here who are willing to take you out for some starter dives. Are you going to be doing some diving in the PI? It's fantastic there!

Anyway, drop us a line when you get back, most here dive nearly every week.

Yes I will be staying 4 days at Panglao Island Resort and plan on diving when I am there. Cost is about $53 for everything they say. I will be glad to let you know how it goes when I get back. If I find it easy with my bouyancy I might try to also rent a camera and see if I can take some pics. Safety first for me I will not go beyond my training and ability.

I've already done quite a bit of diving there. You're in for a treat!
