Kaia's OK back in Boston

Post by John Rawlings »

Long time members of NWDC will remember a one-time active member here called "thelawgoddess" - real name Kaia. After graduating from law school and passing the Bar Exam, she relocated to Washington, DC, where she pretty much stopped diving but continued with her love of running. She was running the Boston Marathon today. I tried contacting her as soon as I heard about the bombing - she had already crossed the finish line and was 2 blocks away when she heard the explosions. She's safe.

It's too bad that not everyone there was as lucky as she was, but I thought that I'd let the old-timers here know that an old friend is safe and sound, although shaken up a bit.

Thanks for that, I didn't know she was running up there today.

I sent her a message just after the blast but saw that she had finished 29 minutes prior on Facebook .....

When they find whoever did this, they should lock them in general population at Walpole.

Glad she is unhurt.
