anybody want to dive lk wash on the sunken bridge deck. its a bit of a surface swim but no current... and you dont even have to rinse your gear

I'd prefer to go out in the morning around 10am or so.

You guys want to split the difference and do 11 or 12? Also, diverdown I'd love to do the sunken bridge sometime, but Janna (da_jab) is visiting and I don't know how many ocean dives she (forgive me if you are a he!) will get to do here. Lets do Edmonds or the Oil Dock, or somewhere that has a lot of life to show our friend from Finland!

Im afraid that I cant make it that early sat. Im helping with ow class in the morning. We will do it some other time. mabey plan something for next sunday i will be outta town next week till sat in oregon. have fun at edmonds its a great dive..

I cant make this weekend
But the wife is willing to let me slide on the honey-do list next Saturday
the 4th of Feb
So I was looking at the tides for that weekend
it dont look to good for the sound.
acording to what i have seen we are looking at 10 to 11ft exchanges that weekend
would you guys be up to a trip out to The Hood Canal?

my usal dive budy Jay might be joining in he will let me know in a day or so if he can make it for sure or not.

as I will be driving up from Oregon and gas prices what they are now
I dont think I could do a boat dive on the 4th so a charter to any place would be out for me

I was thinking shore for sure.
how a bout Sund Rock I have not been there in a while and the sausage biskets & gravy at the little dinner in Hoods Port is the best.

Or can some one think of a nother spot?

so I am open to any sugestions.

Hey that may well work out. We dove both Sund and Octopus hole a few weeks ago but I really like the walls there so as we get closer we can firm up the plan

Janne, no word back from diverdown so you wanna just go with the plan of meeting at Edmonds UW Park, parking lot at 11am?! I'll be there, silver bmw x5.


Also, I'm down to try Octopus Hole, I haven't been there yet and from the sounds of it from Dave :hal its heaven on earth!

Good meeting you Janne, I'm glad you could see some Northwest cabazons and ling cod. The vis was about 5 feet guys, not very good. ](*,)

Nice to get back into the water again after two weeks. An ok dive in general, not the greatest viz but I've seen worse. Big thanks to Calvin for taking me with him. So, around mid next week we go again?

Wow 5 feet huh,,, the worst vis i have been in was when I could see about to the middle of my forearm when I had my arm reaching in front of me and because I was really new to diving at the time I loved every minute of it!!!
At least you guys got wet and there is usually quite a bit of life at Edmonds all be it really shallow.......

sorry i couldnt make it today guys. i had to cut ow class short today my dump valve was leaking so i sent in my suit for repairs. hopefully it will be back next weekend when i get back from oregon. mabey we can plan a dive for sun?
