It has been a while since I have been in the water. So I decided to run up to Redondo tonight. As I was gearing up, I heard someone say there was a six-gill sighting. I was excited, considering I have never seen one in over 400 dives. I headed down the main line toward the carousel boat to about 80'. I found a cool little nudi and snapped a few shots.

At about 84' I headed north. My plan was to head upslope to the large pipe. Right when I turned east there it was! A six-gill swimming the opposite way. It was about 4-5' and was one the move. I quickly checked my air and headed after it. It was moving so I only managed a couple shots. Not to mention, I had my macro lens on. Here are two that managed to come out okay. Not great, but for my first six-gill ever, I'll take it.
