Snorkeling in Seattle

Hey everyone:
Just checking in to see if anyone has any ideas on snorkeling in the Seattle area.
Are there any good spots that you know of??
If so, please let me know.

I will be diving this weekend and also want to snorkel a bit with my spouse.
Any input is appreciated.

Alki pipeline is pretty decent snorkeling. You can find a site description here:

Be sure to fly a dive flag out there.

I realize you asked about Seattle, but there are rivers a short distance away that are chock full of pink salmon right now and beautiful clear water

There is the beach, pier, and rip-rap at Jack Block Park on Eliott Bay too where I don't think there will be fishermen and you wouldn't be exposed to Southerly winds. You could also look around the rocks just South of Cove II.

Edmonds Marina south jetty. Best at high tide.
Enter at Marina Beach at south end of Admiral Way.
There are also three lines of rocks to deeper water about 50-100 feet apart perpendicular to the jetty.
There used to be a small sailboat in about 25 feet 2/3 of the way towards the marina boat entrance.

There are snorkeling 31 sites listed on www.theperfectdive.com. Just check snorkeling in the difficulty section of the quick search. You could also check shore dive box to narrow it down to 23 sites.

It will give you enough information to help decide the best destination for you.
