seems like a diving vessel capsized just off alki beach this afternoon. (Thanks Dan B. for alert and the link!)

News reports also seem to confirm that there were "Diving Surveys" being done off the boat..

The footage looks eerily like a landing craft.. There are also 3 people in the water that looks pretty much like dry/wet suits with black hoods when they were rescued.. the 4th person was under the boat and in airlifted in critical condition to harbor view..

The only landing craft doing scuba surveys / commercial work I know of in Elliot Bay is Alluminator Water Taxi..

Pretty sure that guy is no longer in business. Saw a for sale ad for that boat a while ago.
