Tall Top Jelly? with Hitchhikers

Took this picture at Redondo, got home, blew it up to be able to ID it and...

Surprise, Surprise!

There are hitchhikers riding along. I think the Jelly is a Tall Top Jelly Leuckartiara spp..

Not sure what the other guys are.

Tis the season I think!!! Someone else just sent in a photo of the same jelly. Guess we'll have to keep our eyes out for the critters. Neat!!!

It's probably crab megalope... they should be thick in the water right now and famously travel with other jellies (Vellela)

Jan recently took a photo of a hitch-hiker too! Weird.
