If the slack is a morning one I might be interested... perhaps I can drag the Bassman along if he's not yet gainfully employed.

How is the exchange that day? I suppose I could get off my lazy butt and check myself....

I'm a Deception Pass virgin, so it might be time to do something about that.

Im going to switch this to sunday ....As i didnt know the tides were the same for both days .... So sunday.it is

Tides almost same in both days but different hour. If Sunday, early morning splash before slack at 8:16am. I don't know what time a open gate. I am going on Monday. Have a safe dive.

I'm interested for Monday morning. I would need to know a good splash Time so I can Leave early enough to get there and account for morning traffic.
So What would be a good splash time for Monday Morning?

I plan a splash at 9:00am (no late) for slack at 9:30am. But We get all gears ready for walk down on the trail to shore from a parking about 8:45am. Hope you will make it there. After dive, I go to the Keystone.

Good, Hope see you tomorrow Monday. Don't forget about pay a one day fee at state Parks. If you have a Discover Pass, no problem. I plan a splash around 11:15am or soon at Keystone after dive (end dive before 10:00am) at Deception Pass. Drive about 30 min. between Deception Pass and Keystone. Have a drive safety.

I was out there today too. In fact, I was probably on that boat in the background of your pic. We saw two divers enter from shore, I figured it was you two or Bassman, but couldn't see. Hope you had a good dive!

I had extreme intermitent strobe malfunction (frusterating!!), but I did get a few shots in. Total bottom time 59 minutes, with quite a bit of push but not bad in the beginning. We also did a second dive on the south end of Lopez. A great day diving.

The wall was covered in barnacles, hydroids, sponges, tube worms, and anemones!

I saw a boat with divers. I didn't know you was on the boat. Your pictures were beautiful ! I dove for 59 min. How was Lopez (second dive) ?
