Re: Free Diving/Spearfishing
There is a local group of spearos by the name of Bottomsounders. They have a group over on Yahoo.
I'm sure that you could ask this question over there.
Most spearfishing in Puget Sound is limited to Ling Cod, Kelp Greenling and Cabezon with maybe some pile perch. The good spearfishing is out at Neah Bay and they run trips out there all the time.

FYI Lingcod spear season in Puget Sound is May 21-June 15th.
Be sure to read the rules, they changed for spearos based on prior concerns about sizing and the slot limit.

They also changed the rules on Cabezon - Min size of 18 in. and a take limit of one per day.CaptnJack wrote:FYI Lingcod spear season in Puget Sound is May 21-June 15th.
