It is cheap even (at least until the bidding starts!) shipping might be a bit expensive though

Here's a local one for ya! - Strap a T of O2 on it and you'd have the perfect expedition Nitrox blender

I can't tell wtf that actually is, but I'm not sure that's a high pressure compressor at all.

It has a 5000 PSI gauge so it must be a HP compressor! :)

My best guess is that it's a DIY booster. Something like this:

Yeah it looks like a booster of some sort. Not sure if its for breathing gases tho. I don't see any whips

If it had whips it would be safe for breathing gas!

That's one awesome looking compressor, Looks immaculate. Even got the drop in bins for filling tanks. I would be it will go quite high but you can't loose anything by bidding.

Just in case anybody cares, it was a 2003 Bauer compressor rated at 6000psig max and went for $5650 and would have looked absolutely awesome in my garage

That's a damn good price if it was in operable condition!

That's a decent deal but if you keep your eyes pealed you can run across good deals on compressors. Last year the Kitsap County fire department was selling a very similar unit on CL for about 5K.

FYI - I wouldn't buy a compressor sight unseen. There are too many things that could be wrong with it and Bauer parts are not cheap.

And Bauer is not known for availability of parts or speed at filling orders!

If you're still looking (or just drooling) here's a sweet compressor WITH a Haskel booster and bank for $7500. Plus it's a lot closer to home.
