The very first critter I came across on our decent was a this little snailfish. I understand color is not a good way to ID critters. however, this one seemed more "bumpy" to me. It was white, so very difficult to get detail on. Rich, I shot this at an aperture of 25 to reduce depth of field. However, with the +10 diopter, it still blurred the background. It was on a kelp leaf in about 20' of water. It was about 1 to 1-1/2" in length.
