10 years ago I used to shoot freelance sports from pro events through to kids soccer/baseball/school events.

1D MkII never was full frame though . It had that weird 1.3 ratio which still required full frame lenses but was not quite full frame. Hell of a sports camera though and tough as nails. Joy to use with a good telephoto.
