Found a funny quote in Steve Lewis' "The Six Skills and Other Discussions" book.
"The vast majority of SPGs have not been calibrated since they left the factory - probably someplace in Indochina - and in any case, and even on a good day, are several blocks away from delivering anything approaching fine and exact measurement. The best we can hope for is a pressure reading in the right postal code."
