new life on the hood

Haven't been diving on the canal for a couple of weeks as it has been void of macro life. Keith and I decided to try it today and what a great surprise. New life seems to be popping up everywhere.
Lots of different kinds of nudi eggs, ling cod and octopus also sitting on huge balls of eggs.
Cockerels seem to be coming back too, which is great to see.
The water vis was pretty clear up to 35' in some spots.
All in all a great day
