Cenote Diving in the Yucatan

Had a chance to escape some of the craptastic viz we've been having lately and hit a few cenotes in Mexico. Pretty cool to swim with cichlids and cave shrimp. The fish follow the divers into the caves to use their lights for food...so you get this fantastic fish escort throughout the dive. :)

Thanks to LCF for being a great buddy - and for doing a great job shooting the underwater footage in the clip below.

Thanks for sharing! Some of those passageways look a little tight! Beautiful topography.

Chills! Love it. Made me reminisce about our recent cenotes dive adventure. Thank you.

This was the second time I have ever shot video underwater, and the first time in a cave . . . I'm completely hooked. I had an insane amount of fun setting up the shots and trying to film them, and today, for my birthday, I got a GoPro4. All my dive buddies are going to hate me now, as I try to learn to use this device well enough to go back to MX and really rock the . . . well, rocks!
