Went back to flagpole today but this time I had my wide angle. I was hoping to find something good, like octopus out and about like they were last week. I wasn't disappointed!
By the end of the first dive I had found a rather large and healthy octopus apparently guarding the den of another octopus that was about to the end of her life. Took about 40 pictures of her as she was out and about.
On the second dive Keith found immediately another octopus down in deeper water. The octopus' are all missing at least one arm some more. One dead 7' +/- wolf eel with no signs as why.
There are lots of life on the reef. Wolf eels, octopus, fish... reminds me of how it was about 10 years ago.
First 10' of water looked real nice. Second 10' I couldn't see my gauge. Then it cleared pretty well from there on down, just dark with the cloud above.
