Keystone 8/28
Dereck, ScubaJess, DLH and I ventured out for a dive at Keystone today. The water was nice and flat with a growing current towards the end of the jetty. We got in one dive before fighting traffic home. I was delighted to see a large sun star fully intact and in hot pursuit of a cucumber! Here are some video screen grabs:

Thanks to everyone from meeting up at Keystone this weekend! It's the first time I've been diving in about two months, and what a great way to get my feet wet again!

Sounds like a great dive guys! Cool photos!
Dave, I like your "Plumies (Spot the warbonnet)" shot. But I couldn't find the warbonnet! Glad you got to go back out!

Nice shots, but be careful with UAS operations in that area. You're 2 nm from Coupville Navy airfield, within Alert Area A-680 and potentially within Restricted Area R6701, prohibited even under the new rules for Commercial operators.

Re: Keystone 8/28
My understanding consulting the airmap app was recreational flight was permitted with permission from Coupeville NOLF. I see now that keystone is very close to the boundary of a national park--Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. I didn't think about that as Fort Casey is a state park. Apparently it's simultaneously a national park and state park. The jetty sticks outside of the boundary.

Re: Keystone 8/28
I didn't even see the National Park issue until I went back to Altitude Angle. That entire area is a mess!
